We’re a family-run, off-grid organic roastery in the heart of the Shropshire Hills, dedicated to making coffee that tastes incredible while protecting the planet. Since 2016, we’ve been on a mission to change how people drink coffee at home—proving that great coffee can be ethical, sustainable, and completely guilt-free.
From the very beginning, we’ve scrutinised every step of our process, ensuring that from bean to cup, our coffee is sourced responsibly, roasted with care, and packaged in a way that doesn’t cost the earth. We were early pioneers of compostable packaging, proving that small businesses can set the standard for sustainability.
But Apostle Coffee has never just been about us. It’s about you—our community of ‘Coffee Apostles’—who have helped push the UK coffee industry towards a greener future. With your support, we’ve planted over 800 trees right here in the UK, championed carbon capture technology, and partnered with charities making a real difference.
We couldn’t have done any of this without you—our loyal, passionate, and frankly brilliant coffee champions. So, thank you. You’re the reason we get to do what we love, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together in the next eight years (and beyond).

Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword for us - it’s the foundation of everything we do. From the moment we source our beans to the second you take your first sip, we’re committed to making coffee that treads lightly on the planet.
We were one of the first UK roasters to introduce fully compostable packaging, proving that convenience and sustainability can go hand in hand. Instead of adding to the landfill problem, our packaging naturally breaks down, leaving no trace behind.
But our responsibility doesn’t stop there. We actively support rewilding projects and have planted over 800 trees in the UK to help restore natural ecosystems and capture carbon. By partnering with innovative environmental initiatives, we’re constantly looking for ways to offset our footprint and give back more than we take.
